There are a few chocolate moulds that I have just purchased but have not yet tried out. Will update soon.

"Halal" Marshmallows

These marshmallows are 'halal'. Below are just some of the shapes available. There are 23 shapes for sale, but I've yet to try out each one. :-)

The price?

100g = RM5.00. Depending on the shape, there will be 30-35 pieces per 100g. Of course, the smaller the shape, the more lah kan? :-)

• Flower marshmallow
• Oval marshmallow (coated with sugar)
• Twist marshmallow
• Burger marshmallow
• Gummy combo marshmallow
  

I can also dip the top of each marshmallow and decorate it with chocolate rice, coloured chocolate rice, hundreds and thousands, little sugared stars, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I will start selling the following products:-

a) Chocolate-coated Munchys biscuits decorated with either colourful chocolate rice or hundreds and thousands or transfer sheets or accordingly to customer's preference.

b) 'Halal' marshmallows dipped in dark/milk/white chocolate and decorated the same way as the above.

I only knew this last week, sigh....

The 6 techniques of making chocolate:-

1) Bar = the chocolate will be in a bar form, similar to the ones sold at shops.
2) Praline = chocolates with a nutty filling eg: almonds, hazels, walnuts, etc.
3) Truffle = chocolates with soft filling eg: mint, strawberry, etc.
4) Enrobed = anything eg: biscuits, marshmallows, etc that will be dipped in chocolate.
5) Splitter = chocolates mixed with something else eg: nuts, that will be dropped onto a tray.
6) Hollow figures = chocolates made using molds.

I am ashamed to know the correct terms only last week. I first learnt how to make chocolates on 16/4/2010 and only now I know the above info from an e-book. How embarrassing. All my chocolate terms are mixed up. :-(

My Chocolates (Pralines/ Truffles, Lollichocs, Oreochocs and Chocolate Box)

Available shapes for Pralines/Truffles:-

• Fan (3 cm x 2 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.


• Rectangle (2.5 cm x 2 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.


• Teddy bear (5.5 cm x 5.5 cm) = RM1.10 per piece.

• Single hearts (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) = RM0.90 per piece.


• Leaf (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm) = RM1.10 per piece.


• "Pineapple tart" (3 cm x 3 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.
  

• Seashell (from 3 cm x 6 cm) = RM1.20 for 2 pieces.


• Rose (3 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.


• Bunnies (largest is 4 cm) = RM1.00 for 3 pieces.

• Double hearts (4.5 cm x 4cm) = RM0.80 per piece.


• Big flower (3.5 cm) = RM1.10 per piece.


• Dome (3 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.


• Cockles (3 cm) = RM0.80 per piece.
  

• Assorted wafer mould (4 cm x 7.5 cm) = RM1.30 per piece. Will be individually wrapped in coloured aluminium foil. The chocolate wafers can be either plain or be filled with raisins/ almond nibs/ oreo crumbs/ chocolate rice crispies.


• Coffee bean (1.5 cm x 2cm) = 0.50 cent/10 pieces. Can be plain or filled with roasted almond nuts or raisins.

• Cakes (10 cm minus stick) = RM1.50 per piece.


• Smileys (4.5 cm minus stick) = RM1.00 per piece.


• Flower (5 cm minus stick) = RM1.30 per piece.

• Love and XOXO (8 cm minus stick) = RM1.40 per piece.


• Plain LOVE (10 cm minus stick) = RM1.50 per piece.


• Lollichoc (with an Oreo biscuit inside) with edible images (5 cm minus stick) = RM1.80 per piece.


• Ice-cream lollichocs with edible images (4.5 cm x 7 cm minus stick) = RM1.30 per piece.
  

Available shapes for oreochocs (packaged individually with pricing cost):-

• Oreochocs with edible images (5 cm) = RM1.90 per piece.


• Animal-shaped oreochocs (5 cm) = RM1.70 per piece.


• Flower-shaped oreochocs (5 cm) = RM1.70 per piece.


• Heart-shaped oreochocs (5 cm) = RM1.70 per piece.


• Ball-shaped oreochocs (5 cm) = RM1.70 per piece.

Available shapes for chocolate boxes:-

• Heart-shaped box ( cm) = RM16.00 with 3 pieces of pralines.


• Rectangular box (16.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 5 cm) = RM75.00 with 12 pieces of Big flower pralines.


• Assorted box of 35 pralines = RM50.00.
